Responsibilities include:

Assist patients with frame selection and styling Educate patients on lens options, coatings, materials, and upgrades Take accurate optical measurements Verify, dispense, adjust, and troubleshoot eyewear Perform frame adjustments and minor repairs Review and understand vision insurance benefits Assist with contact lens education when needed Maintain an organized and attractive optical department Help manage frame and optical inventory Answer phones and assist with patient communication as needed Work collaboratively with doctors, opticians, and front-office staff Help create an exceptional experience from the moment a patient enters the office What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who is both technically strong and excellent with people . You are dependable, organized, professional, and comfortable working in a busy environment. You take ownership of your work, notice the details, communicate clearly, and enjoy helping patients find eyewear they are excited to wear. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of optical experience strongly preferred Experience in an independent, boutique, or higher-end optical environment is a plus Strong knowledge of frames, lens options, and optical measurements Experience dispensing, adjusting, and repairing eyewear Familiarity with VSP, EyeMed, and other vision insurance plans Comfortable using EHR/practice-management and computer systems Strong communication and customer-service skills Reliable, punctual, and organized Able to multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism Comfortable recommending appropriate lens and eyewear options based on patient needs Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed The Person Who Will Do Well Here You'll likely thrive in this position if you: Take pride in doing things correctly Enjoy working with patients and building relationships Have an eye for style and enjoy helping people select eyewear Can confidently explain premium lens options without using high-pressure sales tactics Stay calm and organized when the office gets busy Are dependable and accountable Want to keep learning and improving Prefer being part of a strong team rather than simply "clocking in" Interested?
