Optical Sales Associate & Optician Apprentice Position Overview Eye-Site of Boynton Beach is hiring an entry-level Optical Sales Associate interested in learning optical sales and potentially completing a Florida optician apprenticeship. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and has an interest in healthcare, fashion, sales, or eyewear. Previous optical experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.

Office Hours:

Monday & Friday:

9 AM-5

PM Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday:

11 AM-7 PM No weekends Responsibilities Help patients select frames based on fit, prescription, lifestyle, and style Explain lens options, pricing, and insurance benefits Take optical measurements after training Prepare and track eyewear orders Adjust, repair, and dispense glasses Collect payments and maintain accurate records Assist with frame inventory and optical displays Keep the optical area organized Support front-office and patient-care tasks as needed Participate in ongoing optical training What We Are Looking For Friendly, professional, and comfortable working with patients Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable discussing pricing and helping patients make decisions Willing to learn technical optical concepts Positive, team-oriented, and receptive to feedback High school diploma or equivalent Bachelors degree preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience in retail, hospitality, healthcare, or sales Interest in becoming a licensed optician Experience with inventory or point-of-sale systems Apprenticeship Opportunity Hands-on training will be provided by a Florida Licensed Optician in frame selection, measurements, adjustments, repairs, and lens technology. There may also be an opportunity to participate in a Florida optician apprenticeship and take on additional responsibilities as skills develop.
