Experienced Bilingual Optician / Optical Sales Specialist Jacksonville, FL & St Johns, FL | Full-Time | $19-$21/hour Monday-Friday | No Nights | No Weekends Optica Vision / SightHealth Primary Eyecare is seeking an experienced bilingual Optician / Optical Sales Specialist to join our private optometry practice serving 2 locations in Jacksonville, Florida (32211) and St Johns, FL (32259). We are looking for an experienced optical professional who enjoys working with patients, has strong eyewear sales skills, and can confidently guide patients through frame and lens selection. Minimum 3 years of optical experience required. Florida Optician License is NOT required. This position is ideal for someone looking for a stable, long-term career in a professional private-practice environment with a predictable weekday schedule. What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of optical experience Fluent in English and Spanish Strong optical sales and customer-service skills Excellent knowledge of frame and lens options Experience recommending progressive lenses, lens materials, anti-reflective treatments, photochromic lenses and other lens enhancements Experience taking optical measurements and processing eyewear orders Ability to confidently educate patients and make appropriate product recommendations Experience dispensing, adjusting and troubleshooting eyewear Organized, dependable and detail-oriented Comfortable using computers and electronic practice-management systems Ability to work independently as well as part of a team A professional who is interested in becoming a long-term member of our practice Experience with vision insurance and optometry-office workflow is strongly preferred. Compensation $19.00-$21.00 per hour, based on optical experience and qualifications. We are looking for experience and are willing to offer compensation within the range based on the candidate's ability to independently manage optical responsibilities, product knowledge and sales experience.
