OPTICIANFlorida Eye Institute — Vero Beach, Florida Florida Eye Institute is seeking an experienced, professional Licensed Optician to join our optical team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy, established ophthalmology practice with a strong reputation in the community and a steady patient base. Position Responsibilities Assist patients with frame and lens selection based on prescription, lifestyle, and visual needs Accurately measure, fit, adjust, and dispense eyeglasses Educate patients regarding lens materials, coatings, progressive lenses, and other optical options Verify completed eyewear for prescription accuracy and proper fit Perform adjustments, repairs, and troubleshooting Process optical orders and communicate with laboratories Maintain accurate patient and order documentation Assist with inventory, frame displays, and optical department organization Provide exceptional customer service throughout the patient's optical experience Work closely with our ophthalmologists, optometrists, technicians, and front-office staff Qualifications Current Florida Optician License required Strong knowledge of optical products, lenses, frames, measurements, and dispensing Excellent communication and customer-service skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work efficiently in a busy medical practice Experience with optical sales strongly preferred Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Why Florida Eye Institute?
