Job Description
In this role, you will work alongside a Certified Contact Lens Fitter to provide outstanding patient care while learning the fundamentals of contact lens fitting and management. Responsibilities include assisting in the Contact Lens Department by ordering contact lenses for patients both in person and over the phone, verifying and applying insurance benefits for contact lens orders, evaluations, and new fittings, scheduling patient evaluations and fitting appointments, managing contact lens orders and inventory, and notifying patients when their lenses are ready for pickup. We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented individual with excellent customer service skills who is eager to learn and grow in the field of ophthalmology. Previous healthcare experience is a plus but not required—we provide comprehensive on-the-job training and opportunities for career advancement.
