Overview Join our dynamic optical team as an Optician - Optical Sales, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional eye care and eyewear solutions to our valued customers. This energetic position combines retail sales expertise with clinical knowledge, ensuring each patient receives personalized service, accurate eyewear fittings, and professional guidance on optical products. We serve a large Korean-speaking customer base, so the ability to communicate in both English and Korean is highly preferred. Duties Assist customers in selecting eyewear frames and lenses that best suit their needs, preferences, and facial features Conduct precise eyewear fittings, adjustments, and repairs to ensure optimal comfort and functionality Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash registers efficiently for transactions while maintaining accurate financial records Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions related to ophthalmology topics, medical terminology, and health regulation policies Support the team with inventory management of eyewear frames, lenses, and optical supplies following retail management practices Qualifications Proven experience in retail optometry or optical sales with laboratory experience preferred Strong knowledge of ophthalmology principles, anatomy, physiology, and optics fundamentals Ability to perform eyewear fittings, frame adjustments, and spectacle lens dispensing accurately Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to sales and client engagement Basic math skills for handling transactions, insurance processing, and inventory calculations Knowledge of state healthcare regulations and clinical confidentiality policies to ensure compliance at all times Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise enhances lives through clear vision!
