Job Description

Overview Gwinnett Pediatric & Adult Eye Center is a growing specialty optometric practice in Suwanee, GA focused on pediatric eye care and advanced optical services. We are seeking a sales-driven Optician / Optical Sales to help guide patients through frame and lens selection while supporting front office operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys retail sales, patient interaction, and leadership opportunities in a fast-growing practice. Optical Sales Assist patients with frame selection and lens options Recommend premium lens upgrades (AR coatings, photochromic, blue light, etc.) Ensure patients maximize their insurance benefits Provide accurate pricing and explain optical packages clearly Front Office Leadership Support check-in and check-out processes Ensure smooth patient flow and excellent customer service Address patient questions and resolve concerns professionally Help train and support front desk team members Optical Operations Take measurements including PD and frame fitting Process eyewear and contact lens orders Maintain frame inventory and vendor relationships Monitor optical sales performance and assist with revenue growth initiatives Requirements Experience as an Optician or Optical Sales Associate preferred Strong customer service and retail sales skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred Experience with RevolutionEHR or other EMR systems is a plus Excellent communication and patient care skills Benefits Competitive hourly pay Optical sales bonuses Employee eyewear discounts Paid holidays Career growth opportunities Supportive team environment
