Optician Capital Eye Care | Boise, Idaho Join Our Team at Capital Eye Care! Full-Time Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, closed for lunch 12:30-1:30 Responsibilities Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and lens enhancements that best meet their visual and lifestyle needs. Perform frame fittings, adjustments, and repairs. Accurately measure pupillary distance (PD) and optical centers. Interpret and process eyeglass prescriptions. Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear products. Verify eyewear orders and ensure quality standards are met. Maintain inventory and assist with merchandising displays. Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting patient relationships. Support front office operations as needed. Billing out exams and materials to most major vision insurances. Ordering contact lenses for patients. Qualifications Previous optician experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with electronic health records and optical software. Positive attitude and commitment to outstanding patient care.
