Job Description

Hometown Family Eyecare in Middleton, ID is seeking a Cross trained float associate to work in our busy clinic. We are seeking someone who is excited to help our patients with their eye glass needs . Your primary responsibilities would include assisting the doctor with gathering patient information using our EHR system but would also be cross trained in the front desk position and optician position. This position would be ideal for someone with skills in multi-tasking and previous medical receptionist working history.
Schedule:
Hours and days vary between Monday through Thursday 9am-7pm and Friday 8am-1pm. This is a part-time position with hours between 15-25 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
  • High quality customer service on the phone and in person
  • Data entry of demographics and insurance information
  • Scheduling in electronic health record system
  • Collection of co-pays and balances for glasses and contacts
  • Interpreting optical prescriptions written by optometrist or ophthalmologists
  • Managing contact lens order cycle (placing order, receiving product, dispensing product) Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service experience required. Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while keeping professional and calm composure.
  • Computer proficiency is required and ability to use applicable software required to perform the essential functions of the job.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
