In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure water systems operate efficiently, adhere to local building codes, and meet customer expectations. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings Conduct plumbing inspections using cameras and other diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure precise installation and repairs Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing system maintenance tools effectively on various projects Perform drain cleaning and unclogging using specialized equipment to ensure proper flow within plumbing systems Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools, materials, and personnel to job sites Adhere strictly to local building codes and safety regulations during all phases of work Assist with remodeling projects by providing handyman services related to plumbing needs Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues and extend system lifespan Collaborate with team members on construction sites, providing support for heavy lifting and construction plumbing tasks Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on residential or commercial plumbing projects Skilled in welding, drain cleaning, and the use of hand tools and power tools for various plumbing tasks Familiarity with plumbing inspection cameras and interpreting technical drawings or schematics Knowledge of local building codes related to plumbing installations and repairs Experience operating a company vehicle safely in compliance with traffic laws Strong understanding of water systems, plumbing system maintenance, repair techniques, and remodeling processes Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on construction sites or during installation projects Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical specifications Previous construction site experience with an emphasis on construction plumbing or handyman work is preferred Join our team if you're passionate about delivering high-quality plumbing solutions while advancing your skills in a vibrant work environment! Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation. Ability to pass a background check if required. Willingness to obtain an Idaho Plumbing Apprentice License. Attendance at Idaho Plumbing Apprenticeship School is required (non-negotiable). We invest in our employees. Apprenticeship tuition is reimbursed based on your final exam score: 100% score = 100% tuition reimbursement 90% score = 90% reimbursement And so on.
