Job Description
We are filling an optometric assistant position that will be 4-5 days a week. We need someone that is available Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. We are looking for a long-term employee. Please do not apply if you are looking for a short-term job or in-between college semesters. Applicants must be outgoing and feel comfortable interacting with patients. Computer skills are important. On the job training will be provided. Pay will vary depending on experience. Applicants need to enjoy people, get along well with other teammates, and respect patients. Good communication and customer service skills are a must. Duties will include, but are not limited to: optical sales, dispensing glasses and contacts, glasses adjustment and repair, filing insurance, and reception duties.
