Full-Time Optician — Insights Optical Bloomington, IN Join a Growing, Locally Owned Eye Care Practice! Insights Optical is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Optician to join our team at our Bloomington location. We are a locally owned optometry practice committed to providing exceptional eye care and an outstanding patient experience. We're looking for someone who is knowledgeable about eyewear, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in helping patients find the perfect combination of vision correction, comfort, and style. What You'll Do Help patients select frames and lenses based on their prescription, lifestyle, and personal style Take accurate measurements and assist with frame adjustments and fittings Explain lens options, coatings, materials, and pricing Assist patients with contact lens and eyewear needs Troubleshoot and resolve eyewear issues Process eyewear orders and communicate with optical laboratories Verify orders for accuracy Assist with insurance benefits and billing Maintain an organized, attractive optical area Provide a warm, welcoming experience for every patient Work closely with our optometrists and clinical team What We're Looking For Previous optical/optician experience preferred Strong knowledge of frames, lenses, measurements, and optical terminology Excellent customer service and communication skills Friendly, professional, and positive attitude Detail-oriented and dependable Comfortable discussing eyewear options and helping patients make purchasing decisions Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player ABO certification is a plus, but not required Why Insights Optical?
