Must possess exceptional customer service skills in order to provide patients with best experience possible. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Optical experience required.
Duties include:
frame and lens selection and education, dispensing and adjusting glasses, answering optical calls, communicating with the lab, using basic math skills to calculate costs of glasses, performing a final inspection on glasses before patients are notified, obtaining insurance authorizations and filing insurance claims, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the optical department. This role will also assist in insurance verification, check in and check out. A successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, detail oriented, self-motivated individual who has the ability to multitask and is looking to join a really great team!
