Complete Eye Care of Medina - Medina, MN Full-Time | Hourly Position Complete Eye Care of Medina is a boutique, relationship-centered optometric practice serving a growing and vibrant community. We are committed to delivering comprehensive eye care with an elevated, personalized experience. We are seeking a full-time Frame Stylist who thrives in a quality-focused environment where meaningful patient interactions matter more than volume. This position plays a key role in delivering a seamless, high-end optical experience from frame selection through final dispense. This is an hourly position (non-commissioned), designed for someone who values craftsmanship, service excellence, and teamwork.

Position Overview The Frame Stylist is responsible for guiding patients through the optical selection and ordering process while maintaining the integrity, organization, and visual presentation of the optical department. Our clinic operates at a lower patient volume to ensure thoughtful, attentive care. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience at every touchpoint. Core Responsibilities Patient Optical Experience Guide patients through frame and lens selection with a consultative, styling-focused approach Educate patients on lens options, enhancements, and benefits clearly and confidently Complete the optical sales process according to clinic protocol Accurately process orders and verify prescription details Check in and inspect eyewear upon arrival Perform precise frame adjustments and fittings Provide I&R (Insertion & Removal) training for contact lens patients as needed Schedule future appointments when appropriate Deliver an exceptional customer service experience from start to finish Optical Operations Accurately bill the appropriate party (vendor, insurance or patient) per established workflow Follow up on all pending, partial, and backordered items Maintain organization and cleanliness of optical stations and lab Assist with inventory management and restocking Monitor and respond to optical-related communications and tasks daily Partner with leadership to maintain efficient workflows Execute visual merchandising standards to reflect our boutique brand Additional Responsibilities Maintain professional communication with doctors and leadership Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance Adapt to evolving clinic processes and protocols Support team members to ensure seamless patient flow Participate in cross-training opportunities when appropriate Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership Brand & Service Expectations At Complete Eye Care of Medina, we prioritize quality over quantity. The Frame Stylist is expected to: Provide attentive, individualized service to every patient Maintain a polished, well-groomed professional appearance Uphold a calm, welcoming, and respectful environment Represent the clinic with integrity and professionalism Contribute positively to team culture and collaboration Required Skills & Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to exceptional customer service Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems and industry software Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security regulations Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team Strong organizational skills and follow-through Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain composure in a clinical setting Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods during patient interactions Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (frame trays, shipments, lab supplies) Manual dexterity to handle small optical components and adjustments Visual acuity sufficient to inspect eyewear, lenses, and small details Ability to move throughout the clinic as needed to assist patients and team members Compensation This is a full-time hourly position. Compensation is based on experience and skill level.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
