Key Responsibilities:

Guide patients through frame and lens selection, ensuring personalized recommendations and proper fit. Work closely with doctors, office staff, and patients to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience. Accurately interpret prescriptions and place lens and frame orders with attention to detail and quality standards. Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and care, helping them make informed decisions with confidence. Provide contact lens instruction, including insertion, removal, and care education. Adjust, repair, and troubleshoot eyewear to ensure proper fit, function, and patient satisfaction. Support inventory management, including receiving, organizing, and merchandising frames and lenses. Uphold patient confidentiality and documentation standards in compliance with HIPAA and practice policies. Having a passion for outstanding patient care

Qualifications Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as an optician in a private practice or retail optical setting.

Licensure/Certification:

ABO certification preferred but not required. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting. Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional demeanor. Passion for patient-centered care and continuous learning.
