  • Your position helps achieve this by selecting styled eyewear for patients to try on.
  • You listen to patients needs and financial abilities to determine the ideal lenses for patients to use.
  • You adjust patient frames so that they are comfortable with the vision and feel of their eyeglasses
  • You repair patient frames when patients are in need of help
  • You help schedule patients for high quality eye exams
  • You maintain a clean and organized optical, creating a comfortable space for staff and patients Proficiencies (Optician)
  • Phone skills are important since you will need to communicate with patients over the phone
  • Time management is important since we rely on your ability to organize how and when you get daily tasks completed
  • Computer skills are important since all our records and ledgers are done on Microsoft Windows computers
  • Sales skills are important to be able to describe different product options for patients
Requirements:
Two year of optician work history Two year of sales history 40 hours per week availability Benefits (Optician): 40 hours of work per week Excellent health and dental package with large employer contribution We always close for 6 Federal Holidays 80-120 PTO days $20
