As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in helping patients select the right eyewear and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services. Duties Assist patients in selecting eyeglasses based on their prescriptions and lifestyle needs. Conduct fittings and adjustments of eyewear to ensure proper fit and comfort. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and prescription details, in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize EMR systems to manage patient information effectively. Provide education to patients regarding eyewear care, lens options, and frame selection. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay current with industry trends, new products, and advancements in optical technology. Qualifications Previous experience in an optical setting is preferred. Experience in retail is beneficial for providing excellent customer service. Proficiency in medical billing and coding is advantageous for handling insurance claims efficiently.
