Busy ophthalmology practice is seeking an experienced Optical/Ophthalmic Assistant (TPA) to work closely with our MD and help manage our optical department.
Position Details:
Start 2-3 days per week , with the opportunity to transition to full-time Salary + productivity-based compensation Potential opportunity for buy-in for the right candidate Experience with specialty contact lenses (CL) is a plus Optical experience required Willing to train the right candidate
Responsibilities Include:
Managing day-to-day optical operations Optical sales and assisting patients with eyewear selection Purchasing and ordering Billing and insurance-related tasks Inventory management Assisting with general front-desk responsibilities Performing medical testing and other ophthalmic duties Working closely with the physician and supporting the overall patient experience We are looking for a motivated, dependable professional who is comfortable working in both optical and medical ophthalmology and is interested in growing with our practice.
