Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Optical Specialist (Change this baesd on the job title using) to join our team in Spring Valley. This role is responsible for guiding patients through the eyewear selection process, educating them on lens options, and ensuring they have an excellent experience from the moment they walk into the optical department until they receive their glasses.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner Help patients select frames that fit their style, prescription, and lifestyle needs Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and features Explain pricing, insurance benefits, and available upgrades Adjust and fit eyewear to ensure comfort and proper alignment Dispense completed glasses and verify patient satisfaction Troubleshoot and resolve common eyewear issues Assist patients who are experiencing difficulty adapting to their new glasses Perform minor frame repairs and adjustments Maintain a clean, organized, and professional optical department Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the patient experience
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to build rapport with patients Strong problem-solving skills Attention to detail Sales experience is a plus but not required Willingness to learn (training provided)
