Optician/Apprentice Optician

Job Summary Looking for a Licensed Optician or Apprentice Optician for a busy, friendly, growing private practice. Willing to train motivated individuals. Position involves dispensing, adjustments, repairs, eyewear verification, filing insurances, obtaining insurance authorizations, frame and lens selection, scheduling patient appointments and much more. Candidates will be expected to be cross trained throughout the office. Looking for an individual with a positive attitude and friendly personality who is dedicated to providing excellent care to our patients. Experience with state of the art optical goods, excellent computer skills and knowledge of EHR software a plus. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. The position is for approximately 30-32 hours per week. Hourly wage is based on experience and licensure.
