Part-Time | Approximately 8-12 hours per week | Flexible Make a Difference in Community Healthcare Third Street Family Health Services is seeking a Licensed Optician to support our Vision Services program at our Malabar location. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Optician who values flexible scheduling and wants to make a difference by providing accessible vision services in a community health setting. We are looking for someone who can commit to a consistent schedule during our normal operational hours. You'll have flexibility in determining your regular schedule based on your availability and the needs of the program. What You'll Do Fit and dispense prescription eyewear in accordance with Ohio requirements and professional standards. Assist patients with frame selection and eyewear needs. Take and verify measurements necessary for proper eyewear fitting. Review prescriptions and ensure eyewear is dispensed accurately. Make adjustments and minor repairs to eyewear as appropriate. Educate patients on the proper use, care, and maintenance of their eyewear. Maintain accurate patient and dispensing records. Communicate effectively with patients and members of the Vision Services team. Follow all applicable organizational, state, and regulatory requirements. What We're Looking For Current, active Ohio Optician license required. Previous experience fitting and dispensing prescription eyewear preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team.
