Job Summary:
ProMedica Optician is a key member of the eye care team. You will help patients by evaluating prescriptions and recommend specific lens materials, designs and frames to best suit your patient's preferences and visual outcomes. You will customize eyewear for each patient by taking measurements with various measuring devices. You also will make minor adjustments or repairs to eyewear for proper fit on your patient. This position includes finishing lab duties such as edging, polishing, tinting and final inspection. This role involves teaching patients how to insert, remove and care for their contact lenses. REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent At least one year of Optician experience Ohio Optician license. If not licensed at time of hire, must obtain Ohio Optician license as soon as employee is eligible
PREFERENCES
