The Mission Are you a "people person" with an eye for style and a heart for service? Pycraft Family Eye Care is seeking a fun, high-energy individual to join our optical team! We believe eye care should be more than just an exam; choosing eyewear should be the best part of our patient's day. As an Optician, you are the "stylist and guide" of the patient's visual lifestyle, ensuring every person who walks through our doors leaves looking fantastic, feeling confident, and seeing perfectly. What You'll Do (Responsibilities) Guide the
Style:
Assist patients in navigating our optical gallery to select frames that complement their personal style, face shape, and prescription needs.
Lens Education:
Act as an expert guide to explain the "why" behind premium lens options, including advanced lens designs and anti-reflective coatings.
Precision Fitting:
Take accurate manual or digital measurements (pupillary distance, segment heights, etc.) and precisely adjust, fit, or repair eyewear for maximum comfort.
Order Mastery:
Manage optical inventory, check in lab orders, verify prescription accuracy using a lensmeter, and document data accurately within RevolutionEHR.
Team Contributor:
Keep the optical gallery looking pristine and jump in to help teammates whenever needed—we succeed as a team! Who You Are (Our Core Values) We hire for character and train for skill.

Requirements Experience:
Prior opticianry or optical retail sales experience is a big plus, but we are fully willing to train the right person with a sharp mind, a great retail instinct, and a stellar work ethic.
