Located in the heart of Portland's Alberta Arts District, Alberta Eye Care is a locally owned, independent optometric practice known for exceptional patient care and a carefully curated optical experience. Our optical showcases unique independent eyewear brands that reflect the creativity and personality of our community. We are constantly bringing in new collections and styles that you won't find anywhere else in Portland. We believe every patient deserves outstanding service, whether they are purchasing premium eyewear or utilizing their vision benefits. Responsibilities include:
Assisting patients with frame and lens selection Educating patients about lens options and visual solutions Eyeglass dispensing, adjustments, troubleshooting, and repairs Ordering and tracking eyewear jobs Verifying vision benefits and assisting with insurance billing Supporting daily optical operations and delivering exceptional customer service
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous optical experience ABO certification (or interest in pursuing certification) Experience with lens edging Experience using RevolutionEHR Strong communication skills and attention to detail A positive, team-oriented attitude Some Saturdays are required.
