Optician Wanted - Private Optometry Practice, Tigard OR Patient-first optometry practice is looking for an optician who genuinely loves helping people find eyewear they feel great in. What You'll Do Guide patients through frame selection based on face shape, lifestyle, and style — introducing them to our curated designer collections Explain lens upgrades (AR coatings, blue light, progressives) Handle precise fittings and adjustments so every pair fits right Keep displays fresh and manage frame/lens inventory Partner with our doctors and front office for a seamless exam-to-pickup experience What We're Looking For Excellent patient connection and communication Strong communicator, detail-oriented, and a calm problem-solver Comfortable in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing accuracy Prior optician experience required; ABO certification a plus
