Job Description
Texas Lone Star Eye Associates is seeking an optician; a vision care professional who assists customers in finding frames that suit them according to size and comfort. We are seeking an individual with great customer service skills, a person that is a team player, someone that is adaptable and able to use different software programs. Responsibilities include Interpreting prescriptions from optometrists and ophthalmologists. Providing customer service after a patient visits an eye care professional. Making corrective eyewear. Measuring and checking lenses for defects. Cutting, grinding, and polishing lenses. Providing technical assistance and support to customers. Repairing or replacing damaged or defective frames and glasses. The right candidate with experience will be offered competitive pay and benefits and will grow with the company.
