Optical experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person. What matters most is dependability, attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay focused and engaged throughout the day. An optician helps patients choose glasses, understand lens options, and make confident decisions about their eyewear. This role includes both patient care and sales, so the right person should be comfortable talking with people, making recommendations, and helping patients find the best option for their needs. Job Duties Help patients select frames and lenses Explain eyewear options clearly and professionally Take accurate measurements Adjust and repair glasses Enter optical orders accurately Dispense completed glasses Maintain frame displays and inventory Keep the optical area clean and organized Answer phones and schedule appointments Work with the rest of the office team to keep patient flow moving Good Fit This position is a good fit for someone who is: Reliable and punctual Friendly and upbeat Detail-oriented Comfortable with sales and patient interaction Fast-moving without being careless Willing to learn Comfortable using computers Able to stay off their phone and focused during work Professional with coworkers and patients Spanish-speaking ability is a plus. Previous optical experience is a plus, but we are happy to train someone with the right attitude.
