In this vital role, you will assist patients in selecting eyewear, ensure accurate measurements, and fit. Help patients in distress by responding to emergencies. Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information. Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Must handle a multitude of duties at the same time. Runs daily reports, reconciles accounts and deposit transactions.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Strong communication skills Customer service is a must Up sell lens products such as Progressive,Bifocals, Single Vision Lenses, Poly-Carbon Lenses etc.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma with on-the-job training or apprenticeship; Duties of the
Job:
Interpretation of prescriptions written by ophthalmologist and optometrists Collection of eye measurements including corneal width and thickness Helping clients select eyeglass and lens treatments including tints and coatings Creating work orders for lab technicians to ensure delivery of the proper lenses Adjusting eyeglasses to ensure proper fit Repairing broken frames Educating clients on proper eyeglasses and contact lens care Keeps track of orders, prescriptions, and inventory Ensures that deposits are submitted daily as required. Ensures that Petty Cash is accurate on a daily basis. Ensure that merchandise , and display cases are clean, presentable, and stocked send/receive faxes. Send out warranty of glasses Maintains optical in a clean and organized manner at all times Experience Prior optical experience or retail sales background with a strong customer service focus Join us to make a difference in patients' lives by providing expert optical care in a vibrant, supportive environment!
