Optician Flores Eye Care Clinic (
Bilingual:
English/Spanish) - Laredo, TX Flores Eye Care Clinic is hiring a skilled, bilingual Optician to join our patient-focused team. We value exceptional customer service and technical precision to ensure our patients see and look their best.
Salary & Benefits Pay:
Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience (DOE) .

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday ( No weekends ). Key Responsibilities Guide patients fluently in English and Spanish through frame and lens selection. Measure accurately for pupillary distance (PD) and segment heights. Fit, adjust, and repair eyewear to ensure optimal comfort and visual alignment. Educate patients on premium options like anti-reflective coatings and progressives. Manage inventory , submit lab orders, and verify finished jobs for quality. Verify vision insurance benefits (such as Eyetopia, Envolve)
Qualifications Language:
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (Required).
Experience:
1-2 years of optical retail or private practice experience preferred but not necessary for the right candidate.
Skills:
Strong sales ability, attention to detail, and a warm, friendly demeanor.
Certification:
ABO certification or Texas optical experience is a plus, but not required.
Pay:
From $12.00 per hour
