The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care while supporting the optometrist and office team with both optical and clinical responsibilities. Responsibilities Helping patients select frames based on prescription, style, fit, and budget Taking accurate measurements, including pupillary distance (PD) and segment height Reading and interpreting eyeglass prescriptions Explaining lens options, coatings, materials, and features Taking and processing eyeglass orders Verifying finished glasses against the prescription and measurements Adjusting and fitting frames for proper comfort and alignment Making minor repairs and replacing screws, nose pads, and other parts Dispensing completed eyewear and teaching patients how to care for it Bill and interpret vision insurances Assisting providers with efficient clinical documentation during patient visits
