In this role, you will help patients select, fit, and dispense eyewear while delivering an exceptional patient experience from start to finish. This position combines technical optical skills, fashion and styling, sales, and patient care within a fast-paced, team-oriented private practice. You will work closely with doctors and team members to provide high-quality vision solutions while helping patients look and see their best. We are a modern, technology-driven private practice focused on advanced eye care, premium eyewear, and outstanding customer service. Our team values professionalism, teamwork, growth, accountability, and delivering the highest standard of care for every patient who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear based on prescription needs, lifestyle, and personal style preferences Educate patients on lens options, coatings, pricing, insurance benefits, and warranties Take accurate optical measurements for eyewear orders Process eyewear orders and submit vision insurance claims accurately Adjust, repair, and troubleshoot glasses as needed Communicate with patients and optical labs regarding orders, delays, remakes, and follow-up care Verify eyewear orders for accuracy prior to dispensing Dispense glasses and ensure proper fit, comfort, and visual clarity Maintain organization and cleanliness of the optical area Assist with frame merchandising, inventory management, and restocking Schedule appointments, manage check-in/check-out, verify insurance benefits, and support a smooth patient experience from start to finish Assist with contact lens-related workflows as needed, including contact lens orders, pickups, and patient questions Qualifications Previous optometry, optical, eyewear, and sales experience preferred Experience working with vision insurance plans and benefits Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable discussing pricing, recommendations, and premium eyewear options with patients Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and follow established workflows and procedures ABO certification is a plus, but not required If you are passionate about patient care, fashion, eyewear, and technology, we would love to hear from you. Pay:
