Job Description
Optometrist Full-time Aurora, CO Position Overview Sowash Practices is seeking skilled and patient-focused Optometrists to provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision exams, diagnosis, and treatment of ocular conditions. Ideal candidates are committed to delivering high-quality care, building strong patient relationships, and contributing to a collaborative clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision tests Diagnose and manage ocular diseases Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing refractive surgery Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment plans Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EHR Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals as needed Stay current with advancements in optometry and participate in continuing education Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution Active state optometry license in good standing Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compensation & Benefits We are committed to supporting our doctors' long-term growth and success.
