Company Description Plainville Optical Inc, along with Plainville Optometrics LLC, is a dedicated eyecare facility located in Plainville, CT. Founded in 1993 by Jonathan Lindberg, we have been providing exceptional eye care services to the town of Plainville. Our team of licensed optometrists and opticians are committed to delivering the best service and care to meet all of our patients' eye care needs, including routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, and eye wear repairs. We prioritize politeness, integrity, and dependability in our staff selection process to ensure a positive experience for our patients. Role Description This is an on-site role as an Optometrist at Plainville Optical Inc. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating eye conditions, prescribing corrective lenses or medications, and providing personalized care to patients. Additionally, you will collaborate with our team of opticians to ensure accurate eyewear fittings and assist in contact lens fittings. You will work closely with our patients to provide the best solutions for their eye health. Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree Valid state license to practice as an Optometrist in Connecticut Strong knowledge of ocular anatomy, physiology, and diseases Experience in conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing eye conditions Ability to prescribe corrective lenses and medications Expertise in fitting contact lenses Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong commitment to patient care and satisfaction
