Newsom Eye is seeking a patient‑focused Optometrist to join our established, multi‑specialty ophthalmology practice in Brooksville and Tampa, FL. Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive eye exams for new and established patients Diagnose and manage ocular disease Provide contact lens fittings and follow‑up care Co‑manage cataract, refractive, glaucoma, and cornea patients with our surgical team Educate patients on treatment plans and vision care Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation Collaborate with ophthalmologists, technicians, and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow

Qualifications:

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree Active Florida license (or ability to obtain) Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills Experience in medical optometry preferred Ability to work effectively in a busy, team‑oriented environment
