Starting around $150,000+ (DOE) + Performance Bonus Join a Growing Medical Eye Care Team A respected multi-provider eye care practice in the Tampa Bay area is seeking a Full-Time Optometrist (OD) to join its collaborative clinical team. This opportunity is ideal for an Optometrist who enjoys practicing medical optometry, working alongside experienced ophthalmologists, and providing high-quality patient care in a modern clinical environment. - Perform comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases
- Provide routine and medical eye care
- Fit and manage contact lenses
- Co-manage cataract, glaucoma, corneal, refractive surgery, and other surgical patients with ophthalmologists
- Educate patients regarding treatment plans and preventive eye care
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to provide exceptional patient care Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD)
- Active Florida Optometry License (or ability to obtain before start)
- Medical optometry experience preferred
- Experience working in an ophthalmology or OD/MD setting is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a patient-first approach
