Job Description

Rockford, IL. Part time optometry position. Rockford Eye & Laser Center is a medical/surgical ophthalmology-optometry practice. This position will predominately involve seeing postoperative patients after cataract surgery and LASIK patients preoperatively. Candidate will also have the opportunity to practice as much medical optometry as he/she desires and is comfortable with. There is an opportunity to see patients with glaucoma, cataracts, diabetes and acute conditions such as corneal foreign bodies, corneal ulcers and conjunctivitis. Subspecialty support is available for complex cases.

Fully equipped 7000 square ft facility
Sub-specialists in cornea, retina, and pediatrics on staff available for sub-specialty support
State of the art facility with Cirrus OCT, FA, Pentacam, topography, on site Excimer laser, fully integrated electronic medical records
Great support staff with technicians and scribes to work up patients and document charts
Retirement, health and dental benefits
Base salary will be prorated at 180-200K annually.
