THE OPPORTUNITY

The Eye Clinic is seeking a medically capable, collaborative Optometrist to join its established physician-supported organization in Southwest Louisiana. Since 1959, the practice has built a reputation for trusted, relationship-centered care. This role offers immediate patient demand, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to build a long-term professional home.

ROLE SNAPSHOT

Approximately 50% medical eye care and 50% routine/optical care Approximately 40-50 patients per day, with flexibility One scribe and two work-up technicians per OD Coverage across four regional locations; travel within one hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide high-quality medical and routine optometric care, including vision, glasses, and contact-lens services. Build trusted patient relationships while maintaining efficient clinical flow and documentation. Partner with physicians, technicians, scribes, optical staff, and regional teams to deliver coordinated care. Contribute to practice growth and serve patients across designated Southwest Louisiana locations.

COMPENSATION + BENEFITS

Base Salary:

$12,000 per month ($144,000 annualized)

Annual Revenue Bonus:

After year one, paid annually: $25,000 at $500,000 revenue; $50,000 at $750,000 revenue

Optical Productivity:

After year one, paid quarterly: 20% over $30,000; 35% over $75,000 in optical revenue Benefits +

Terms:

Employer-paid malpractice; $500 annual CE stipend; profit sharing, 401(k), and medical participation. Sign-on and relocation are negotiable; employer contribution structure is under review.
