Job Summary Boston Eye Physicians and Surgeons is an internationally recognized private ophthalmic surgical practice dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered eye care. Located in Brookline, Massachusetts, our practice combines advanced medical and surgical expertise with a close-knit, collaborative team environment. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Optometrist (OD) to join our growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who values high-quality patient care, enjoys working collaboratively with ophthalmologists, and wants to expand their skills in a comprehensive medical eye care setting. Optometrist Responsibilities The ideal candidate will provide exceptional clinical care while developing meaningful relationships with patients and contributing to our continued growth.

Responsibilities include:

Perform comprehensive eye examinations and provide personalized vision care Diagnose, manage, and assist in the treatment of ocular conditions including cataract, glaucoma, dry eye disease, and general ophthalmic conditions Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for ophthalmic surgical patients Participate in cataract and other surgical co-management Prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses when appropriate Lead and continue to develop our Dry Eye Clinic services Educate patients on ocular health, treatment options, and preventative care Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain accurate medical records Collaborate closely with our ophthalmologists and clinical team to provide seamless patient care Qualifications & Skills The ideal candidate will possess: Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited program Current Massachusetts optometry license or eligibility Residency training preferred but not required Strong clinical judgment and commitment to excellent patient outcomes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse patient population Professionalism, integrity, and strong ethical standards A team-oriented approach with a desire for continued learning and professional growth Ability to work full-time onsite Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package designed to recognize and reward exceptional clinicians.

Compensation:

Starting salary: $140,000 annually with production-based bonus opportunity (commensurate with experience)
