• White Marsh Johns Hopkins University 403(b) United States, Maryland, Nottingham Jun 18, 2026 The Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking an optometrist to join the Wilmer Eye Institute's comprehensive eye care division.

This individual will work independently to provide primary ocular evaluations for patients at Wilmer Eye Institute's outpatient clinic location in White Marsh, MD. Comprehensive care providers perform vision and medical eye exams within the bounds of individual licensure andMaryland'slegal scope of practice. Common encounters include diabetic eye examinations; evaluation of dry eye disease, cataracts, and glaucoma suspicion; Plaquenil screenings; and triage of urgent eye or vision concerns. On-site referral/consultation forpatients requiring surgical or advancedsubspecialist careinglaucoma, retina, cornea, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastics, and low vision rehabilitation. Vision care services include prescription of glasses and soft contact lenses, with the opportunity to build a practice in specialty therapeutic contact lenses. This salary range does not include all components of the Department of Ophthalmology faculty compensation program or pay from participation in the Department of Ophthalmology incentive compensation programs. • Minimum of one (1) year of experience or successful completion of accredited optometry residency program. Education
• Graduation from an accredited school of Optometry required.
• License in good standing in State of Maryland required.
• National Provider Identification (NPI) required.
