Looking to escape the city, earn great money, and spend your summer surrounded by lakes, forests, and mountain views? We're seeking an experienced Optometrist for a locum assignment in Northern Maine—perfect for clinicians who enjoy travel, flexibility, and outdoor adventure while making a real impact in an underserved community. Position Highlights 6-month assignment (Start in September) $110
  • 120/hour 4 x 10-hour shifts | No call ~16 patients per day 1 dedicated Optometric Technician FQHC setting What You'll Do Provide comprehensive and urgent eye care, including exams, contact lenses, glaucoma and diabetic care, post-op co-management, and OCT/visual field interpretation.
Requirements Maine license or eligibility, VERY QUICK to get! NBEO Board Certified
DEA & BLS
  • DEA also very QUICK to GET!
1-2+ years' experience Reimbursed for Both License and DEA! Why This Role?
