Job Description

Optometrist (Fill in) —
EAGAN MN
At Steel Optical, we're looking for an Optometrist who's a team player, someone who wants to be part of a small team and genuinely loves patient care and building rapport. We're committed to offering our patients the highest standard of care in a welcoming environment.
Pay:
$720+/day flat rate + bonus structure
Schedule:
Part-time or fill in available (~30 hours) What You'll Do Perform comprehensive eye exams, including vision assessment and screening for ocular disease Appropriate referral to local ophthalmology clinics for additional testing Diagnose and manage refractive conditions (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia) Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and other treatments tailored to each patient Educate patients on eye health and preventative care Document patient care accurately and promptly in our EHR system What We're Looking For O.D. from an accredited optometry school Active, MINNESOTA optometry license A team-player mindset and genuine passion for patient care and rapport Strong diagnostic skills for both refractive and ocular health needs Why Steel Optical Small, supportive team where you're not just a number Digital phoropter, Auto-refractor, auto-lensometry, NCT, and retinal imaging (Optos) Streamlined, easy-to-use EHR — less time on paperwork Work-life balance
