Job Description

Full-Time Optometric Associate Location:
Primary location Henderson, NC. Satellite offices in
Warrenton and Louisburg, NC About Us:
We are a full-scope primary care, three-optometrist owned, private practice committed to providing exceptional eye care to our community. We see a mix of routine and medical eye examinations. Each office has a excellent frame selection, access to contact lens fitting sets, and our primary practice has a full-optical with edger. Our offices have well-trained, experienced, and efficient staff capable of running our advanced medical technology including Humphrey and VR visual field machines, retinal photography, OCTs, and more. Our offices are located 30 to 50 minutes north of Raleigh/Durham. Our practice provides a perfect blend of small-town charm with easy access to the culture, art, food, and events of a major city. All three doctors are fully booked over two months out, though we pride ourselves on prioritizing family and have an amazing work/life balance, including half-day Fridays and no weekends. We hope the right candidate will have an interest to buy-in and become an owning partner in this thriving practice. Experience is a plus but new graduates are welcome to apply!
Qualifications:
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree. State licensure to practice optometry in North Carolina. Strong clinical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction, contact lens fittings, and ocular health evaluations. Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, diseases, and disorders. Educate patients on proper eye care practices and treatment plans. Collaborate with the team to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction. Participate in practice development meetings.
