Description Optometrist - Private Practice We are seeking a patient-focused Optometrist to join our established private practice offering comprehensive eye care in a welcoming, boutique optical setting. Our practice provides a wide range of services, including medical eye care, vision therapy, dry eye treatment, and specialty contact lens services, allowing patients to receive advanced care under one roof. We are currently seeking Monday coverage in a part time position.
Responsibilities include:
Performing comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages Diagnosing and managing common vision conditions and ocular health concerns Prescribing glasses and contact lenses with attention to individualized patient needs Educating patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive care Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation Working collaboratively with a skilled team to deliver high-quality patient care
About Our Practice:
Boutique optical with a focus on quality eyewear and personalized service On-site specialties including medical eye disease management, vision therapy, dry eye care, and specialty contact lens fitting (such as scleral lenses) Supportive, team-oriented private practice environment
Qualifications:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree Active state optometry license (or eligibility) Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach Interest in private practice and long-term patient relationships This role is ideal for a part time optometrist seeking a well-rounded private practice position with the opportunity to practice full-scope optometry while being part of a multi-specialty eye care team. Salary $525 - $550 per day
