Cascade Eyecare Center in Grants Pass, OR is a thriving practice seeking a full-time or part-time Optometrist to join our healthcare team. This is an outstanding opportunity as Cascade is well known for providing exceptional ophthalmic and optical care in Grants Pass, OR and the surrounding areas. Cascade's mission is "to enhance lives and preserve health and vision through exceptional eye care delivered with kindness, integrity, respect, and the highest ethical standards." Our physicians and staff enjoy a long-standing friendly, respectful, and cooperative culture, and we encourage and promote a healthy work-life balance. We currently have 3 full-time physician/surgeons, and 1 part-time physician that maintains limited clinic hours and will retire at the end of 2026. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Our patient load and wait list guarantees a nearly full schedule from the outset. Experienced OD & new OD grads are encouraged to apply! We believe that Southern Oregon is the most beautiful place in the entire Pacific Northwest. Grants Pass is nestled along the Rogue River in the beautiful Rogue Valley, surrounded by national forests in the Siskiyou and Cascade Mountain ranges. We have some of the best year-round outdoor recreation in the country. Hiking and biking trails, pristine golf courses, rafting, and jetboat river trips are favorites of visitors as well as locals. In the middle of town hangs a sign that famously boasts "It's the Climate." Close by are the Redwood Forest, Pacific Coast, Crater Lake National Park, historic Jacksonville, multiple live theater and concert venues, downhill skiing on Mt. Ashland, and world-class award-winning wineries and craft breweries throughout the valley. The Rogue Valley offers the best of both worlds; a relaxed, nature-focused lifestyle in a small-town setting, with larger city amenities within reasonable driving distance. Grants Pass (pop. 40,000) has major grocery and retail chains (Safeway, Walmart Superstore, Home Depot) along with a variety of services and charming local shops. Nearby Medford (pop. 85,000) easily accessible by I-5, offers major retail shopping (Rogue Valley Mall, Target, Costco) and Rogue Valley International Airport.
