Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including vision examinations, diagnosis of eye diseases, and management of patient care. The Optometrist will work closely with patients to ensure their optical health and comfort while maintaining high standards of professionalism and patient confidentiality. Duties Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect any ocular conditions. Diagnose and treat various eye diseases and conditions, providing appropriate management plans. Prescribe corrective lenses and other optical aids as needed. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the importance of regular eye examinations. Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technologies. Provide exceptional customer service, assisting patients with inquiries related to their eye health and optical products. Experience Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and optical systems is essential. Familiarity with ophthalmology practices is a plus. Experience in patient care settings, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to manage medical records efficiently while adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Sales experience within the optical field is advantageous but not mandatory.
