Asheville, NC Cary, NC Fayetteville, NC Jacksonville, FL Jacksonville, NC North Augusta, SC West Columbia, SC Scope of Work As an Optometry Examiner , you will: Conduct eye exams and complete disability benefits questionnaires (DBQs) to assist the VA in processing veterans' disability claims. Perform evaluations for various eye conditions , including scar exams and visual field tests (VFT) . Qualifications Doctorate degree from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE) or completion of medical school with residency in ophthalmology. Active state license in good standing. Experience in diagnosing and managing eye-related health issues. Dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality care. Experience in performing VFT testing is preferred.
