We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Optometrist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred eye care services. This includes conducting comprehensive vision examinations, diagnosing ocular conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, and managing various eye diseases in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Role Description This is an on-site, full-time role for an Optometrist located in Galveston Texas. The Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and managing eye diseases, and prescribing appropriate corrective lenses. Additionally, the Optometrist will educate patients about eye health, recommend treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. The role requires maintaining accurate patient records and staying current with advancements in optometry. Qualifications Proficient in performing comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing eye conditions Experience in prescribing corrective lenses and managing eye diseases Strong patient education and communication skills Ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals and maintain accurate patient records Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school Valid state optometry license Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Experience in the optometry field is a plus Apply directly through email with the subject line "Best Eyedocs" to corporate@todaysvision.com
