Ophthalmic Insurance Verification Representative (Retina)

Berkeley Eye Center, a Houston vision care leader for over 60 years seeks experienced Medical Office person for to assist with Insurance Verification for Surgical Procedures. Please note this position is at our Central Business Office based in Kingwood, TX.

Job Description:

Work in Central Business Office to assure the insurance of our surgical patients has been properly and completely verified prior to surgery date. You will work with patients, insurance companies & our staff to ensure our out-patient surgical centers will get properly compensated for services provided.

Ideal Candidates:

Have at least 3 years of Medical Business Office experience in a vision care/Retina environment. This should include experience with insurance verification plus strong positive working relationships with patients and insurance companies. We will only consider candidates with Medical Office experience.
