Douglas & Leisner Optometry is seeking a full-time Optometrist with near-term partnership ambitions to join our established, locally owned private practice in Chester, VA (Richmond metro area). We are looking for a motivated doctor with strong clinical skills and excellent patient rapport to join our patient-oriented team. In this role, you will use your clinical skills to care for vision needs, emphasizing medical management, including treating ocular disease, infections, and injuries and managing pre- and post-operative care. As part of a doctor-led leadership team, you will provide guidance to staff as you motivate them to succeed alongside you, overseeing patient care and office flow, assist with ongoing staff training during clinic and staff meetings, and collaborate with the Partner ODs and Practice Managers on office management and growth strategies.
