Join Our Team at Spex in the City - Seattle's Boutique Optometrist Office! Spex in the City, a family-owned optometrist office in the Roosevelt Neighborhood of Seattle, is seeking an Optometrist to join our team. This position offers flexible part-time employment, with a 1-3 day per week schedule. Welcoming. Personal. Caring. Connected. Our tight-knit team consists of individuals who are passionate about helping others feel good about their eye health and eyewear choices. We won't hesitate to replace a screw or adjust a pair of glasses, regardless of where they were purchased. Our eclectic product selection features brands such as Bellinger House, De Stijl Holland 1924, OVVO, and Dita Lancier to name a few. We're looking for a part-time Optometrist to help us ensure our community has access to the best optical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess vision, detect ocular diseases or abnormalities. Diagnose and treat sight problems, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism. Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications as necessary. Performs verbal interview with patient to understand ocular history, reason for their visit as well as visual wants and needs. Monitor patients' eye health, recommend appropriate patient follow-up and referrals. Hands-off patient to support staff with recap discussion.

Active Washington State OD license Current malpractice

Job Types:

$100.00 - $135.00 per hour
